Why Trust Link Dental
to Handle Your Wisdom Teeth Removal?
Advanced Technology for Safe, Precise Care
The team at our Centennial dental office will use 3D cone beam scans or digital X-rays to thoroughly assess your teeth, gums, and oral structures before we remove your wisdom teeth. Our modern technology helps us determine the absolute best course of action for your oral health.
Minimally Invasive Techniques for Faster Healing
We value a smooth recovery. Our dentists use gentle, minimally invasive techniques like ultra-small incisions and resorbable sutures to reduce disruption to the treatment area and speed up the healing process. If you choose, we can also provide plasma-rich fibrin (PRF) therapy to further accelerate healing.
Sedation Options for a Stress-Free Experience
Our dentists are licensed providers of sedation. We offer nitrous oxide sedation, oral conscious sedation, and IV sedation in-house to ensure the widest range of patients has access to comfortable care. We’ll take the time to help you feel completely at ease.
Free Second Opinions for a Confident Decision
If another dentist has recommended a wisdom tooth removal and you aren’t sure, you can come to Drs. Thomas Reed, Mark Link, and Jean Link for a free second opinion. We’ll provide an honest, no-pressure assessment to help you make the best choice.
Precise and Virtually Painless Tooth Extraction
Having a tooth surgically extracted may sound intimidating, but the team at Link Dental is here to reassure you that it's relatively simple and virtually painless. We offer calming sedation during treatment and handle each case with the utmost precision. Your Centennial, CO, dentist will also be closely involved in your follow-up care to ensure you enjoy a smooth and easy recovery.
Covered Care When You Need It
Link Dental Accepts Insurance and Financing
Wisdom teeth removal procedures are usually covered by dental insurance, especially if treatment is considered necessary due to pain or infection. Link Dental accepts most insurance plans, except Delta Dental. We’ll be happy to file a claim with your provider on your behalf.
Don’t have dental insurance? You can afford the care you need at Link Dental. We accept third-party financing through CareCredit®, and we also offer our own in-house membership option.
Join our Link to Smiles Membership Plan for 15% savings on all your dental care, including wisdom tooth extractions. Membership costs $399 per year and covers diagnostic X-rays, two cleanings, and two exams. No waiting period, no exclusions!

Your Timeline
for Wisdom Teeth Extraction and Recovery
Day of Consultation
When you visit Link Dental in Centennial for your wisdom teeth consultation, we’ll ask about your symptoms, take digital scans, and discuss your sedation options for treatment. Depending on the complexity of your case, our dentists may be able to perform your extractions on the same day if needed.
Day of Treatment
We’ll ensure your comfort before beginning, either with local anesthesia alone or paired with dental sedation. Your dentist will make small incisions to access the wisdom teeth within their sockets, then remove them whole or in smaller pieces. They may place sutures that resorb into your own tissue and offer PRF for faster healing.
First Day Post-Op
It’s best to rest for 24 hours after wisdom tooth extraction. In the first 24-72 hours, use ice packs and over-the-counter medication to reduce pain and swelling, avoid using straws to prevent dry socket, and gently rinse with mouthwash to keep the treatment area clean.
One Week Post-Op
You’ll return to our Centennial office for a checkup one week after your surgery. Your dentist will make sure that you're healing properly. By this point, you should be mostly free of discomfort and swelling and able to reintroduce firmer foods into your diet.

Dr. Reed is an amazing dentist. He’s got excellent bedside manners and thoroughly discusses your dental needs and your options with you. The dental hygienists are wonderful.
No. If your wisdom teeth are fully erupted from your gums and well-aligned with your other teeth, you may not need an extraction. At Link Dental, we’ll never push you toward a treatment that isn’t necessary for your health.
Do wisdom teeth need to be replaced?
No! Wisdom teeth aren’t essential for eating or speaking, so it’s not necessary to replace them with something like a dental implant. Once you have your wisdom teeth removed, you won’t have to worry about them again.
Will my bite shift after getting my wisdom teeth removed?
It’s normal to notice a slight change in your bite, especially if you had all four wisdom teeth removed, but it won’t lead to significant misalignment. If you do have bite issues you wish to address, we can help you explore treatment with discreet clear aligners.
